Privacy Notice

Virium Holdings Ltd (Company No. 17190230, registered in England and Wales) is the data controller for this website and for information you send to us by email. Our registered office is 124 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX.

What we collect

We collect the information you choose to provide when you email us, such as your name, contact details, business information, and the contents of your enquiry.

Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) automatically records technical request data — including IP address, user agent, and request timestamp — in server logs. This is used for security, abuse prevention, and traffic analysis at the infrastructure level.

What we do not collect

We do not run analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies on this website. Strictly necessary cookies may be set by our hosting provider for security and functional purposes.

How we use your information and the lawful basis

We process the contents of email enquiries to respond to you and assess potential business engagement, manage ongoing work, and keep appropriate business records. Our lawful basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the UK GDPR — specifically, our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries — and, where relevant, the taking of pre-contractual steps under Article 6(1)(b).

Server-log data is processed on the lawful basis of legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) for site security and integrity.

How long we keep it

Email correspondence is retained for up to 24 months from the date of last contact, after which it is deleted unless retention is required to fulfil a contractual or legal obligation. Hosting-provider server logs are retained according to the provider’s standard retention schedule.

Who we share it with

Your email correspondence is held by our email service provider, which acts as a data processor on our behalf. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare, which acts as a data processor for technical request data. We do not sell or otherwise disclose personal data to third parties except where required by law.

International transfers

Where personal data is processed outside the United Kingdom by our service providers, transfers are made under UK adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards, such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Your rights

  • You can request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • You can ask us to correct inaccurate information.
  • You can ask us to delete information where we no longer need it or where the law permits deletion.
  • You can ask us to restrict our processing of your data.
  • You can object to our processing of your data.
  • You can request data portability where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at admin@viriumholdings.com. We will respond within one calendar month.

Complaints

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your personal data, you may lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or 0303 123 1113.
